Returns & Cancellations Policy

We want all our customers to be satisfied with the quality of our goods and service. If you are dissatisfied with any goods or service, please contact Customer Services on 01487 710800.

 

Business Users

If you are claiming a defect in the quantity, quality/condition of the goods, or that the goods do not match the specification, you must notify us within 5 days of delivery.

 

1. Return request timeframe:  You have 5 days from the date of receipt to request that goods be returned. 

2. Return conditions:  Goods may only be returned if they are unused, unassembled, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition. 

3. Remedy (replacement/refund):  Desk Dividers Ltd may replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or refund the price of the goods (or a proportionate part). 

4. Handling fee (where applicable):  We may charge a handling fee for returns where the order was placed in error or not wanted. This fee will be deducted from any refund. 

5. Inspection/care:  Returned goods will be kept safe and secure until collected by us. 

6. Damage deductions:  Any damage to the goods may be deducted from the refund, in addition to any handling fee (if applicable). 

7. Refund timing:  If a refund applies, we will refund the price of the goods less any deductions within 10 days after the goods have been collected and examined.

 

Consumers

A consumer is an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

 

In addition to the terms above:

1. Notice period:  You have 30 days after receiving your order in full to notify us in writing that you wish to return goods for a refund, exchange, or credit note. 

2. Return conditions:  Returned goods must be unused, unassembled, and in a resalable condition. 

3. Possible deductions:  We may deduct amounts for missing parts, signs of assembly, or damage to the product.

 

Made To Order Products

Some products are Made To Order and are not stocked items. This will be clearly stated at the time of order.

 

1. No returns/refunds:  Made To Order products are not returnable or refundable. 

2. Refused delivery:  Refused deliveries of Made To Order products are not eligible for credit. 

3. No restocking: Made To Order products cannot be accepted back into stock.

 

Cancellations

1. If you wish to cancel or amend an order before delivery, please contact us urgently by telephone on 01487 710800. 

2. Our team will advise what can be done depending on the type of product and the stage it is in production. If the product is not bespoke or made to order, we can usually cancel it free of charge. 

3. Desk Dividers Ltd reserves the right to charge a handling fee for cancellations where orders were placed in error, not wanted, or are already in transit.
